Diffusion models belong to the category of artificial intelligence and are primarily used in the field of image and data generation. They are a special type of algorithm that are trained to gradually create meaningful images, texts, or other data from pure randomness.

Imagine diffusion models as a digital artist: initially, the „drawings“ are just a wild jumble of pixels. Gradually, the algorithm intelligently removes the „noise“ until a clear image emerges. The more data the model uses to learn, the better the results become.

A vivid example: Using Diffusion Models, software can generate a completely new, realistic image from just a few descriptive keywords (such as „dog on a beach at sunset“) that has never existed before. This is providing a real innovative boost to industries such as advertising, design, and the film industry because creative processes are being automated and accelerated.

Diffusion models have become a key tool for modern artificial intelligence, enabling new possibilities in the digital world.
