Continuous AI Model Monitoring (Glossary)

4.9
(1058)

Continuous AI model monitoring is at home in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Automation, and Big Data and Smart Data.

This refers to the continuous monitoring of AI models used within companies or other organisations. AI models such as voice assistants, forecasting systems, or chatbots are never completely „finished“. After deployment, they need to be regularly checked to ensure they continue to work reliably and accurately.

Imagine an online shop uses AI to make suitable product recommendations for customers. Over time, however, customers„ interests, trends, or purchasing behaviour change. Continuous AI model monitoring means that the company constantly observes the AI: Is it still making sensible recommendations? Or has it “unlearned" and is now suggesting the wrong products? If something isn't working well, the AI can be improved or retrained in good time.

Continuous AI model monitoring helps to detect errors early, improve the user experience, and ensure trust in AI solutions. This forms the foundation for successful and sustainable AI applications for businesses.
