The term „Continuous Intelligence“ is primarily at home in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Big Data and Smart Data, as well as Industry and Factory 4.0. Continuous Intelligence describes the ability of computer systems to continuously process, analyse, and derive immediately useful decisions from large amounts of data in real-time.
Unlike traditional analyses, which are based on older data, Continuous Intelligence is about directly incorporating current events and information. This ensures that companies can react to changes more quickly and effectively.
A vivid example is a modern production line: sensors constantly measure temperature, speed, or material quality. A system with Continuous Intelligence analyses this data non-stop and detects early on when disruptions are imminent. Production can then be immediately adjusted, even before a problem actually occurs.
