AI Orchestration (Glossary)

The term AI orchestration is primarily found in the fields of artificial intelligence, automation, and digital transformation. It describes the coordinated collaboration of various artificial intelligences and digital systems to solve complex tasks more efficiently.

Instead of just using a single AI application, AI orchestration is about controlling multiple intelligent tools and processes so that they work together to achieve a goal. This can mean, for example, in a modern company, that one AI is responsible for analysing customer data, another for warehouse management, and yet another for customer service. Through central control – i.e. orchestration – all AIs work together, automatically share information and make better decisions collectively.

A clear example: In an online shop, AI orchestration ensures that one AI processes orders, while another AI checks if the items are in stock, and a third AI orders new goods based on the orders. This way, many processes run automatically, saving time and costs.

Anyone who understands what AI orchestration is will quickly recognise the benefits: greater efficiency, fewer errors and faster processes in the digital world.
