Openness makes you strong in the Neflental

The morning begins in the Neflental with golden sunbeams and fresh dew on the fern leaves. A gentle breeze drifts across the violet clearing, carrying the scent of crocuses and violets. The flowers here gleam in violet, sunny yellow, and leafy green. In the centre of the clearing rests an ancient statue, covered in moss. Sunbeams dance on its pearly grey eyes. It is spring, and the valley is full of life.

An Adventure in the Bernblossom Grove

On a spring day, Rosa Immergrün decides to embark on a new adventure. Birds are chirping merrily and bees are buzzing over the golden-yellow blossoms of the honeysuckle grove. It smells of honey and summer rain. Rosa Immergrün feels a tingle of excitement in her stomach and sets off. But today, Rosa Immergrün feels a little different than usual. Something in her heart wishes to simply be herself, no matter what the other gnomes might say.

The secret wish in the heart

In the Neflental, everyone has something special. Some can sing, others conjure little lights, some can even talk to animals. Rosa Immergrün likes to try out her own ideas. But sometimes Rosa Immergrün thinks: „Am I perhaps too different?“ This question accompanies her path through the blooming meadow full of golden blossoms.

Courage to be open makes you strong

A group of young gnomes are already waiting in the Bernblossom Grove. They are playing, laughing loudly and telling each other stories. Rosa Immergrün watches for a moment and hesitates. Should Rosa Immergrün go to the others and join in the play? Or would it be better to sit by the fence, quietly dreaming to herself? Rosa Immergrün gathers all their courage and steps forward. „Hello, may I join in?“ asks Rosa Immergrün, feeling their heart beat wildly.

Some gnomes look surprised. One calls out: „Of course, join in!“ And immediately a smile spreads across many faces. As they play together, Rosa Immergrün notices that everyone brings something of their own. Some tell incredible jokes, others can sing beautifully. But everyone is open to each other and everyone gives what they do best.

Violet Clearing: A Place Full of Magic

Later, Rosa Periwinkle and some friends hike to the Violet Glade. They are curious about the ancient statue in the centre, whose pearly grey eyes sometimes glow like little suns. Together, the friends sit in a circle. They share what they love to do most. Everyone listens intently, because openness makes you strong.

Rosa Immergrün now explains how much she enjoys composing her own songs rather than always singing the same ones as everyone else. A small, quiet gnome claps softly and says he prefers to paint colourful pictures in the sand. The sun peeks through the trees. It feels lovely to be so open and to show who you really are.

Everyone is a little different – and that's a good thing.

At the end of the day, they all lie laughing on the carpet of violets and crocuses. They feel friendship growing. In the Neflental, no one is the same, and that's what makes this place so special. Openness makes you strong, because everyone is brave enough to show what makes them unique.

The statue on the violet clearing seems to smile and looks kindly at the gnomes. The small sunbeams in its eyes twinkle mysteriously. Rosa Immergrün now knows for sure: openness makes you strong. Because whoever is brave and stands by themselves finds friends who like them for who they really are.

What do we learn from this?

Everyone can be brave and open. It's worth daring to be who you are. Openness makes you strong, because friendships grow when everyone is allowed to honestly show who they are. This is how Neflental will become even more colourful, cheerful, and magical.
