The term „robotics carrier systems“ is primarily found in the fields of industry and Industry 4.0, automation, and robotics.

Support systems for robotics are the foundations or „basic frameworks“ upon which robots are installed and operated. They provide support, protection, and flexible movement options for the robots, enabling them to perform various tasks. For example, a support system can be a frame, a rail, or a platform to which the robot is attached.

A vivid example is a robot arm in a car factory. This robot is usually mounted on a fixed base or a movable rail – this exact construction is called a support system for robotics. It ensures that the robot arm can be used safely and precisely at the desired workstation at all times.

Such carrier systems are crucial for robots to be deployed flexibly and easily exchanged. This increases efficiency in production and reduces costs in the long term. Carrier systems for robotics are indispensable, especially in modern, automated factories.
