Tolerance makes us strong in the N przepis.

A cold winter has arrived in the Neflental. Snow covers the meadows and the trees glisten in the morning sunshine as Rosa Immergrün awakes. The day begins early because Rosa Immergrün has a lot planned. She wants to see all her friends in the Neflental and bring them a little surprise.

Rosa Immergrün trudges through the crunching white, past tall fir trees, until she reaches the ice rose garden. She is amazed by it every time. Many rose blossoms sleep beneath the shimmering layer of ice. They look as if made of glass. A place full of magic, but today it seems even quieter and colder than usual.

At the edge of the Ice Rose Garden stand their friends. There are Buchians with their hard, woody hands, Flossians with the amusing blue shimmer on their skin, and even a few Bergsteins, who rarely venture out of the mountains. Yet, all stand silently in small groups.

Rosa Immergrün immediately notices that something is wrong. No one says anything. The Flossians cast suspicious glances at the Bergsteins. The Buchians even turn away. For days now, Rosa Immergrün has been hearing many people complaining about others. „They look so strange,“ someone says. „They talk so quietly, you can never understand them,“ grumbles another.

But Rosa Periwinkle isn't intimidated. She hops to the middle and calls cheerfully: „I have an idea! Let's go to the Violet Clearing together! A special adventure awaits us there!“ A little hesitantly, the others follow. Even the Rock Cousins trudge along, albeit with crossed arms.

Together on the Violet Meadow

Soon they arrived at the Violet Glade. Everything there is full of bright colours: violets in dark purple, crocuses in fresh green and sunny yellow. In the middle stands a large statue, completely covered in moss. Its eyes glow in the light of the warm winter sun. Everyone feels welcome here.

But suddenly a mountain stone discovers that a hole gapes in the ground. There's a crack, and one of the Flossians slips into it. Rosa Immergrün immediately wants to help. „We must work together! Only then can we get him back out!“ she calls. The Buchians reach down a hand with their long roots, the Flossians form a glowing chain, and the mountain stone holds everyone firmly with its strong arms.

Within a few minutes, they pull the friend out of the pit. Everyone laughs in relief. Now they look at each other differently: not as strangers, but as heroes because they helped each other.

Tolerance makes us strong – Everyone is different, but everyone is special

After the adventure, everyone sits on the soft violets. The colours around them glow, and the sunlight brushes the statue. Some realise they never want to exclude anyone because of their skin colour, their voice, or their gender again. „Everyone here can be special,“ says a Buchian. „Only together are we truly strong.“

They sit together for a long time, telling stories. The Bergsteins talk about gemstones in the mountains, the Flossians sing songs about water, and the Buchians show how they tie small figures from branches.

What do we learn from this?

Everyone is different. But it is precisely this that makes the Neflental a special place. If we are tolerant and accept others as they are, we will become strong. Shared adventures and help turn everyone into real heroes. And perhaps – as Rosa Immergrün showed today – tolerance begins with an open heart.
