More power for you: Responsibility in the Neflental
In the Neflental, everyone can make a difference. You just need the courage to take responsibility. That's exactly what Rosa Immergrün experienced one spring day. The sun bathed the valley in bright gold, fresh green leaves gleamed on the trees, and the violet clearing bloomed in a colourful carpet of violets and crocuses. In the centre of the clearing stood an ancient statue, its eyes sparkling in the sunlight.
The invitation to the Violet Clearing
This morning, Rosa Wildrose received an important invitation. The white elves asked for help, as someone had noticed that the statue on the Violet Glade seemed to be weeping. Her face was marked with pearly grey droplets. Many inhabitants of the Neflental were worried. But no one knew what it meant, and many were too afraid to ask.
Rosa Immergrün sensed immediately: now is the moment to take responsibility. So she made her way to the Violet Clearing. She was determined to sort things out and to give courage to the others.
The path through the Silvermoss Grove
To get to the Violets Glade, the path led through the Silver Moss Grove. Old willows grow there, their branches hanging like green curtains into the clear water. The ground was covered with silvery moss, which shimmered in the light like stardust. Little moss nymphs scurried quietly between the roots. Pink Periwinkle greeted the nymphs kindly. She listened intently as the nymphs reported that the silver light of the moss had been weakening since the statue in the glade became sad.
Many would have turned a blind eye. But Rosa Immergrün said to the Moss Nymphs, „I will find out what's going on and help you!“ This gave everyone in the Silver Moss Grove hope.
More power through responsibility
Rosa Immergrün reached the violet clearing. The flowers shone in violet, sunny yellow, and fresh green. The statue stood still in the middle, its face now completely calm. It almost seemed to her as if the statue was waiting for someone to have the courage to discover the truth.
Rosa Immergrün looked around and spotted a small branch that had fallen right onto the statue. It seemed insignificant, but it was obscuring the statue's heart. Rosa Immergrün plucked up her courage and picked up the branch. She felt sunlight suddenly stream through the canopy. The statue's eyes began to glow, just as the violets seemed to dance.
Everyone held their breath. The white elves, the evergreens and even the moss nymphs gathered. They watched as the statue became happy again and the whole valley relaxed.
Together, we can achieve more!
Because Rosa Immergrün had taken responsibility, she was able to bring help to Silbermoos Grove and the Violet Clearing. She didn't wait for someone else to do something. She dared and acted. This brought everyone in Neflental closer together. Suddenly, everyone realised how strong you become when you take responsibility.
This made the whole Neflental a little brighter, the flowers glowed more intensely, and even the silver moss flowed again like stardust beneath the old willows.
What do we learn from this?
Responsibility makes you strong. It gives you more power for yourself and also for others. No matter how small you are, you can achieve great things if you are brave and take responsibility. This is how you can make your surroundings shine – just like Rosa Immergrün in the Neflental.
