The term stereolithography is at home in the fields of 3D printing, industry and Industry 4.0, as well as digital transformation.

Stereolithography is a technique for producing three-dimensional objects layer by layer from liquid plastic. A special laser is used to cure the liquid material in the desired locations. This continues until the complete object has been formed.

This method is particularly precise and is often used to produce detailed prototypes or individual pieces. In industry, stereolithography is used, for example, when a sample part for new vehicles or medical devices is needed quickly.

Imagine a designer wants to test a new shape for a door handle. Using stereolithography, they can produce an accurate model within a few hours, handle it, and check its functionality before expensive tools need to be produced.

Thanks to stereolithography, companies save time and money because changes can be made directly to the digital model and quickly tested as a physical part. This accelerates the development process and allows innovative ideas to be implemented rapidly.
