Robot as a Service (RaaS) is at home in the fields of automation, robotics, and Industry 4.0. Instead of expensive robot purchases, businesses can flexibly rent robots with Robot as a Service (RaaS) and deploy them as needed. This works similarly to a streaming service – you only pay for as long as you use the service.

This allows smaller companies to utilise modern robots for their work without high procurement costs. The robots are maintained by the provider and replaced or upgraded as needed. This is particularly popular in warehouses, for example: a company needs more helpers for the Christmas period and rents additional robots just for this timeframe.

Robot as a Service (RaaS) makes state-of-the-art automation easily accessible, helping to reduce costs and risks. This means that decisions about expensive robot investments no longer have to be made years in advance; companies remain flexible and only pay for what they actually need. This is a big advantage for keeping up with today's rapid changes.
