Fairness counts in the Neflental

A new day begins in the Neflental. The time of the bloom watch has arrived. Mist drifts over the valley floor, shimmering in pink and lilac. Mossy trees stretch out their branches, adorned with cherry and violet blossoms that gleam like tiny lights. Fine, dew-kissed spiderwebs glitter in the grass. Shadowy mythical creatures emerge from between the blossoms, making the morning seem even more mysterious. Everyone in the Neflental is slowly waking up, greeting this special day.

A problem during the bloom watch

Rosa Immergrün skips across the fern meadow. Today she wants to prepare a big picnic for her friends. Blooming time is the loveliest season because pollen dances through the air everywhere. But when Rosa reaches her hiding place, she sees that the treats have vanished! Someone was faster and took everything. Now her friends from all parts of the valley are sitting there: the Bookies, the Floaters, and even a brave Rockie. They look at Rosa, as hungry as she is.

Rosa Immergrün is looking for a solution

Rosa quickly notices that discontent is spreading among her friends. Some are grumbling that one person ate more or collected more. An argument breaks out. Rosa doesn't want that. She suggests they all think together first. „If we treat each other fairly, no one will go hungry. Shall we try it together?“ she asks.

Everyone sits down in the dew-soaked grass. The soundstone shimmers through the fine mist. The black monolith looms silently from the ground. „Let's ask the soundstone for advice,“ calls Rosa. At this moment, she waves for her friends to follow her.

You can feel fairness at the sound stone.

The group gathers around the dark monolith. As soon as they touch it, it begins to hum, deep and soothing. The humming penetrates their hearts. Suddenly, no one feels disadvantaged anymore. Everyone feels that fairness makes the community better. Rosa suggests, „We'll just share what everyone still has. Then everyone will get something.“ The friends continue searching. They find blackberries in the bracken, juicy flowers by the stream, and crunchy nuts under the shimmering trees.

Together they lay everything out on a large sheet. Rosa helps to divide the treats into equal portions. This is not difficult at all when everyone works together and thinks of each other. Everyone gets as much as everyone else. No one goes hungry, and everyone is happy with their slice of floral happiness.

The Flower Watch Festival

In the mist of the blossom watch, friends celebrate their fair picnic. The pastel colours of the blossoms are reflected in their cheerful faces. Mythical creatures dance around. The sound stone continues to hum softly. Soon everyone is laughing and playing together. Because fairness counts, everyone has joy – and that makes this day unforgettable.

What do we learn from this?

If we are fair and share, no one feels left out. Fairness makes all friends happy. In the Neflental, everyone now knows how nice it is to live together fairly. And every time the mist rises at dawn and the sound stone begins to hum, the friends remember. Because fairness counts – always and everywhere.
