With an average of almost 8 hours per day, people all over the world are spending more time consuming media than ever before. This is according to recent figures from Zenith published data, which also showed an interesting trend in the Media consumption demonstrate.
For decades, television was the undisputed number 1 in daily media use, and it still is. However, with the significant increase in internet consumption (both mobile and desktop) over the past ten years, it looks like television's reign may soon come to an end.
According to the latest Media consumption forecast From Zenith, the gap in daily consumption, which was 27 minutes last year, could shrink to just 13 minutes this year and disappear entirely by 2019.
