For many, a visit to Ikea means meatballs, scented candles, and the Billy bookcase. The children head for the ball pit, the parents for the furniture showrooms. But Ikea is also evidently becoming increasingly attractive online, as current sales figures show. As early as last year, the Swedish furniture giant's e-commerce business overtook its much-vaunted catering business. Since then, things have continued to go significantly uphill. As the graphic from Statista shows, Ikea's online revenue in this country stands at 304 million euros. That's a respectable 6.2 percent of total revenue and significantly more than in previous years.
