By 2022, e-commerce revenue in Germany will increase to over 82 billion Euros. This is according to a current forecast from the Digital Market Outlook. Analysts see particularly dynamic growth in the sectors of furniture and household items (+61.1 percent) and food and drugstore items (+54.2 percent). However, the electronics and media, as well as fashion, categories are more important for overall revenue – with a combined market share of about 60 percent.
