How the public in the US views the most important immigration policies

Immigration has been a major issue under the Trump administration, and has come under particular scrutiny in recent days, with outrage across the political spectrum about the separation of children from their parents and the conditions under which they are being held after illegally crossing the Mexican border.
While public opinion on this topic Pretty obviously war, a new Survey Gallup has shed new light on what people in the USA think about some other important immigration policies/proposals. Of the four proposals selected for the survey, there was the most support for the so-called „Dreamers“ – immigrants who as children Illegal brought to the USA, but who can be given the chance to become US citizens if they meet certain requirements over a specific period.
