According to the National UFO Reporting Centre Sightings of UFOs in the USA are reaching record highs. In 1990, the organisation recorded just 307 sightings (most of which were in the USA, but their records also include sightings worldwide) and this number has surged in recent years. In 2014, they peaked at 8,619 before dropping slightly to 5,516 in 2016.
