The Neflental – A Place of Consideration
In the Neflental, the day begins in vibrant colours. Moss-green meadows glitter in the morning light, golden sunbeams paint a brass sheen on the ancient trees. It is autumn. The beech forests display their most beautiful mahogany hues. At the chestnut square, Rosa Immergrün happily rattles with baskets. Chestnut balls roll everywhere. Children laugh, giggle, and play tag. But today, everyone notices that someone isn't quite as cheerful.
The Bern Blossom Grove and an Important Task
Rosa Immergrün feels the gentle wind, carrying the scent of honey and summer rain. The amber blossom grove is blooming in a vibrant yellow. Bees buzz amongst the blossoms, and birds are chirping. Suddenly, a young Flossian comes running. His hands are trembling because he is scared. He has to take the large amber blossom basket to the Chestnut Square this evening. But the path is slippery from chestnut shells. He's afraid of tripping and spilling everything.
Rosa Immergrün listens attentively. She thinks about how much courage it takes to ask for help. And because consideration is important in the Neflental, Rosa gathers the friends together. The children nod, because everything is easier when done together.
Consideration grows like a golden flower.
They are discussing together how they can help. Some of the friends are sweeping the cobblestones in Chestnut Square. Others are making sure that no more chestnuts are in the way. Rosa Immergrün suggests that they all go to Bernblütenhain together and carry the basket of flowers together. Because everyone is considerate of each other, nothing goes wrong.
On their way, one of the Bookians recounts how he once tripped because nobody had paid attention to the chestnuts. Everyone laughs, and the young Flossian realises that no one is perfect. In this way, the friends feel how consideration connects them and makes them braver. They reach Chestnut Square, where they set down the large basket of golden-yellow blossoms. Their friendly togetherness colours the air, like the scent of honey.
On Chestnut Square – A Festival for Everyone
The residents of the Neflental meet on the colourful square. The benches are covered with moss-green blankets. The baskets with fruit gleam beige and brown. Suddenly, a little evergreen stumbles. Rosa Evergreen quickly catches him. The elders nod approvingly. Friendship shows itself in small deeds and grand gestures. A Buchianer pushes a heavy cart aside so that no one bumps into it.
Everyone says: „Together we are stronger!“ They share warm drinks and laugh at colourful leaves dancing like butterflies. Consideration makes the atmosphere cheerful and peaceful. The young Flossian beamed. He saw how wonderful it is to stick together in the Neflental, to encourage others and to value friendship.
What do we learn from this?
Sometimes all it takes is a small gesture. A listening ear, a helping hand, or a kind word. Consideration paints our lives a golden yellow, like the blossoms in the rapeseed field. Because we look out for each other, fewer accidents happen. And if something does go wrong, friends help immediately. In the Neflental valley, everyone experiences how beautiful life is when we are stronger together. In this way, true friendship grows from consideration – and that's really cool.
