Truthfulness: Why Honesty Makes Real Heroes Strong!

A new day dawned in the Neflental. The sun sent its first rays across the fern meadows, and fresh spring air filled the valley. All the inhabitants of the Neflental were already on their feet. Rosa Immergrün was also bustling cheerfully among the bright leaves. It was the day of the great Fern Festival, and excitement reigned everywhere.

Discovering truthfulness in the Neflental

As Rosa Periwinkle trod through the morning dew, she noticed something was different. The colourful flags for the festival had disappeared! The periwinkles whispered excitedly, as the fern festival absolutely needed these flags. After a short while, someone announced that the flags had blown away in the wind. But Rosa Periwinkle had seen someone in the fern forest last night carrying the flags away. She knew she had to be honest now and ensure truthfulness in the Neflental.

Rosa Immergrün plucked up her courage and reported what she had seen. This was not easy, because the Immergrüns are very friendly, but can also be easily offended. However, because honesty makes everyone strong in the Neflental, the others listened attentively. Suddenly, someone hesitantly stepped out of the fern forest. It was Flecki, a young Immergrün, who was ashamed. Flecki admitted: „I only wanted to secretly repair the little flags because I had accidentally torn them.“

What makes heroes in the Neflental?

In the summer, when the Fern Festival began, the little flags were back. They fluttered colourfully above the heads of the forest dwellers. Everyone was proud of Flecki because he had admitted his deed. Rosa Alwaysgreen was the first to encourage the others: „That was brave of you!“ Everyone learned that truthfulness brings true friendship. And because they were honest, the festival could start joyfully.

In autumn, the Evergreens collected stories and sang around a fire as colourful leaves danced. Once again, Rosa Evergreen told everyone how important truthfulness is. She reminded the children that heroes in the Nefl Valley treat each other honestly. And the elders in the valley nodded in agreement. Now Flecki knew too: honesty makes you strong and brings everyone closer together.

Together through the Winter – Honesty Connects

In winter, the fern forest grew quiet. Snow covered trees and meadows. Pink Evergreen visited Flecki and brought hot soup, as winter in the Nefl is cold. They chatted by the warm fire. Flecki said: „I always want to stay honest, even when I'm scared.“ Pink Evergreen nodded. She knew that honesty makes heroes – even if the heart sometimes pounds. In the Nefl, everyone feels safe because honesty counts.

What do we learn from this?

Truthfulness is important in Neflental. It fosters trust and turns friends into a strong team. Because everyone is honest, they can master adventures together. Even when it's difficult to always tell the truth, it's precisely this that makes real heroes strong. In Neflental, everyone knows: friendship and courage begin with an honest word. And Rosa Immergrün, as a friend, shows that honesty is the true magic in the valley.
