More power in life: Taking responsibility in everyday life
The mists of the flower watch still lay thick over the floor of the Nefel Valley as the day awoke. It was a very special morning: fine spiderwebs sparkled everywhere in the cool dew, and the air smelled sweet of blooming violets and fresh cherry blossoms. The moss-covered trees showed themselves in pastel pink, lilac, and emerald green. Delicate fantasy creatures flashed between the branches, curiously stretching their wings and quietly flitting through the mist.
The problem with the sleep tree
In this peaceful atmosphere, Rosa Periwinkle stepped out of her home onto the fern meadows. She was determined to pick berries today, but suddenly she stopped. A mighty, ancient cherry tree had fallen overnight. Its thick branches blocked the path that led to the mysterious Foxfire caves. Rosa heard a moaning sound from behind the tree.
Rosa realised that some Flossians were stuck at the other end of the path; they couldn't get back to the village. And just today, of all days, when there were major cleaning works to be done in the Neflental! All peoples were supposed to help so that the Blossom Watch could shine particularly festively.
Some residents sighed: „Someone else should deal with this!“ An Evergreen neighbour giggled: „Perhaps the problem will sort itself out?“ But Rose Evergreen thought: More power in life means taking responsibility – even if it seems difficult.
To show decision and responsibility
Rosa Immergrün took a deep breath and decided to act. So she got a few friends to help, and together they pushed and pulled at the heavy branches. They used ropes made of cobwebs, which they found between the pastel trees, and tied everything tightly together. Thus, they gathered their strength – one by one helped out.
Rosa cried: „Together we can do this!“ The mythical creatures marvelled at the courage. Everyone worked together until the path was finally clear. Thus, the Flossians were able to reach the village again to help with the preparations.
Rosa's Way to the Foxlight Caves
As a thank you for their efforts, the Flossians invited Rosa to the Foxlight Caves. These grottoes are a magical place. The floors are soft and mossy, and small, luminous mushrooms grow on the walls. In the darkness, they appear like tiny campfires. A gentle flickering bathed everything in a cosy, warm light.
Rosa and her friends sat together, sharing sweet berries and telling stories. Everyone agreed: it feels good to take responsibility! Everyone in Neflental can contribute to ensuring everyone is happy and safe.
What can children learn in the Neflental?
Life often presents problems that initially seem large and difficult. But when we tackle them together and are courageous, we grow internally. Taking responsibility gives you more power in life. The Neflental shows: solidarity helps us overcome even the most challenging tasks. And sometimes, a shining adventure awaits at the end, as in the Fuchslicht caves.
What do we learn from this?
Those who take responsibility discover their own strength. More power in life means not giving up and looking for solutions together. This not only gives courage, but also brings joy and friendship. Just as Rosa Immergrün is there for others in the Neflental, you too can show responsibility and help others in your everyday life.
