Discovering nature awareness in the Neflental
Rosa Immergrün awoke early in the morning, even before the first rays of sunlight bathed the Glanzhoch in warm gold. She felt the gentle hum of the meadows in the Neflental and took a deep breath. Today, she wanted to uncover a great secret of nature – and you can be there.
The adventure in the Bernblütenhain begins
Rosa Immergrün hurried towards the Bernblossom Grove. Golden-yellow blossoms, fragrant with honey and summer rain, bloomed everywhere. The sun painted bright patterns on the leaves, and the wind whispered tales of bygone days. For Rosa Immergrün, environmental awareness meant hearing and feeling what lived around her.
She sat down amongst the flowers and closed her eyes. The warm earth tickled her feet as butterflies danced in vibrant colours above her head. She knew: every animal, every plant and every tree in the Neflental had its place and its purpose. Together, they formed an invisible network that connected everything.
Gleaming – the time of togetherness
During the Golden Season, the light in the Neflental valley appears particularly vibrant. Rivers and small lakes everywhere reflect the sunlight like dancing sparks of fire. Rosa Immergrün ran to the water and gazed at the smooth surface. She saw dragonflies shimmering sapphire blue, while frogs croaked in the emerald green reeds.
Nature consciousness was most apparent in these moments, as Rosa Immergrün realised she was part of everything: of every wave, every leaf, and every ray of light. On the shore, a group of children in colourful dresses had gathered around a campfire. Lanterns floated silently over the water, glowing in coral red and gold.
Wonder and mindfulness in a sea of lights
Rosa Immergrün sat down by the fire with the others. They told stories of the animals and plants in the Neflental valley. A girl showed her a caterpillar quietly munching on a leaf. Rosa Immergrün smiled, for she knew how important the little creatures were for the balance. Then she looked up and was amazed.
The sky was now glowing in golden twilight. The lanterns floated like little stars. Rosa Immergrün felt how strong the connection was between her, people, plants, and animals. For her, nature consciousness meant being grateful for all the wonders right before her eyes and discovering with open eyes what usually remained hidden.
Discover the secret world of nature in the Neflental.
The next morning, Rosa Immergrün sprang through the Bernblossom Grove once more. She collected empty snail shells, listened to the call of the birds, and watched as the flowers turned their heads towards the sun. She saw a root feeling its way through the soil for water, and how the smallest of beetles built a hidden city between moss and stone.
She remembered the voices around the campfire and the play of light on the water. Nature awareness doesn't always feel the same, but it reveals itself in small encounters and in wonder. Each day in the Neflental brings a new secret of nature to light.
For whoever looks closely will discover: every flower, every stone and every river tells its own story. Together they create the radiant picture of life in the Neflental. You can discover this secret world of nature anew every day – just like Rosa Immergrün.
