Community spirit in the glowing splendour of the Neflental

Summer begins in the Neflental with a special festival. It is the time of the Glanzhoch (Glow-High). The sun stands high in the sky. Its rays dance in gold and amber on the meadows and lakes. The world gleams in sun-gold, sapphire blue, coral red, and emerald green. Beings big and small laugh everywhere, sing songs, and light colourful lanterns. Friends sit by the campfire on the banks of the clear rivers. They tell stories and let the lanterns float into the twilight.

At the heart of the festival is the Bernblossom Grove. Golden-yellow blossoms grow in this grove. Their scent is reminiscent of sweet honey and warm summer rain. Everyone likes to go there. Rosa Immergrün also walks spiritedly among the splendidly shimmering blossoms. She is particularly excited today. That's because everyone from the Neflental is supposed to prepare something beautiful for the summer festival.

In the Bernblossom Grove: Where it all begins

Rosa Immergrün looks around the Bernblossom Grove. The golden-yellow blossoms stretch high towards the sun. Many friends call and wave to her. Together they want to build a flower garland, as long as the grove itself. But the task is difficult. The stems of the blossoms are delicate. No one can carry the long ribbon alone. The garland repeatedly kinks and falls to the ground.

Rosa Immergrün drums everyone together. She calls out, „We'll only manage this if we help each other! Everyone can do something.“ Immediately, the Immergrüns, the Flossians, the Buchians, and even a few Bergsteins arrive. They laugh, chatter, and together they consider how to gently thread the blossoms and stretch the ribbon across the grove.

Together we are unbeatable!

Everyone takes on a task. Some carefully pick the most beautiful bellflowers. Others weave small knots from fern leaves. A few friends brace themselves with all their might against the ribbon to keep it taut. Rosa Immergrün counts the flowers and cheerfully cheers everyone on. No one has to work alone, because everyone is needed.

The sun still shines golden in the sky. Everywhere the evergreens giggle and sing a song of friendship. The garland grows longer and longer. It shimmers like a luminous river of blossoms across the whole Bernblütenhain. In the end, it is so magnificent that even the inhabitants of the Crystal Lake marvel. Some lanterns are hung in the floral wreath. Their light dances in gold and coral red through the night.

Celebration in the Glow of Marriage: A Celebration of Friends

In the evening, everyone tells by the campfire what they have accomplished. Rosa Immergrün laughs with her friends from the Fern Forest, the Flossians from Crystal Lake, and the elves, who sparkle with a secret, quiet shimmer in the light. Everywhere you can feel that Neflental is full of warmth and joy, because everyone is acting together.

The floral garland connects the whole grove. It is made from a wide variety of blossoms, leaves, and plants. Just as the community is made up of many different friends. Together they are unbeatable. They are feeling this particularly strongly today.

As shooting stars pass over the valley, Rosa Immergrün and all the children sit hand in hand. Happiness and light fill them. They know: Together, one can accomplish even the most difficult tasks and experience the loveliest summer.

In the Neflental, summer's glorious prime highlights the importance of community. When everyone helps and supports each other, great things can emerge. True friendship makes every task easier.
