The adventure begins in the Neflental
The Neflental was bathed in glorious sunshine. The sun shone golden in the sky, and colours blazed everywhere: the water shimmered like sapphires, the grass glowed emerald green, and even the air sparkled in a warm amber light. It was the most beautiful time for celebration, but sometimes also a time when someone had to be brave.
The special place: The Water Lily Bay
On the edge of the Crystal Lake lay the Water Lily Bay. Large, round leaves floated calmly on the water and the white blossoms gave off a delicate scent in the warm air. Colourful fish swam slowly between the stalks and dragonflies with sparkling wings circled above the water. Someone wanted to hold a party here. But an important task remained unfinished: Someone was supposed to deliver a message – all by themselves.
Rosa Immergrün has a task
Rosa Immergrün had been asked to deliver the invitation for the grand celebration to the Flossian people, who lived a little further along the lake shore. Rosa had never done it all by herself before. The journey was long, and a little bit of fear crept into her thoughts. What if the bridge wobbled again? What if someone laughed? Or what if the wind carried the invitation away?
Boost your self-confidence: Being brave in small moments
Rosa Immergrün gazed at the water, which sparkled like silver. Then Rosa heard the humming of a dragonfly and the giggling voices of the fish. The sun caressed her skin warmly. One thought grew larger: „I can do this! Even though I'm afraid, I'll just go now.“ Each step became easier because Rosa repeatedly remembered why the task was so important.
Small steps make you strong
Rosa Immergrün walked slowly along the soft moss at the water's edge. At first, her heart beat wildly. But then the first water lilies appeared, and fish flashed in vibrant colours beneath the water. A dragonfly briefly landed on Rosa's hand. These small moments gave her strength. With every step, her courage grew. Rosa quietly said, „I am strong. I can do this!“
In radiant glory, all shine together
Young Emily Green soon reached the homes of the water folk. The invitation was gladly accepted, and everyone marvelled that Emily had come all by herself. Soon after, lanterns lit up the shore of the Lily Bay. Revellers in colourful clothes sat by the water, singing songs and clapping. Golden light leaped like sparks from face to face. Emily Green smiled, for now everything felt completely light and beautiful.
Together, everything is easier
In the evening, Rosa told everyone about her solitary journey and how courage can grow – step by step, like dragonflies learning to fly. The friends listened and realised: anyone can be brave and strong, especially when they believe in themselves and dare to try something new. Together they celebrated the peak, laughed by the fire, and knew that in the Neflental, courage and joy are at home.
What do we learn from this?
Sometimes things feel difficult, or even a little bit daunting. But with small steps and self-belief, courage and strength grow. Even if you feel scared, it's worth it to just give it a go. In the Nefl Valley, little heroes like Rosa Immergrün show that everyone can be brave – including you!
