Compassion in the Neflental: A Special Day Begins

The morning was fresh and quiet in the Neflental. Fog lay like a protective veil over the soft moss in the small Schleierhain. Rays of light danced between the ferns, colouring the day in misty white, lilac, and moss green. A hint of peach sparkled in the sky. It was early summer, and the scent of blossoms hung heavy in the air. In this magical moment, Rosa Immergrün crept through the tall grass. She carried a big plan in her heart.

The Sunfed Valley is calling

Suddenly, Rosa Immergrün heard a cheerful chirping. She looked up, for she knew that she had now arrived in Sunfeather Valley. Here, gold-feathered birds sang a song as warm as the sun itself. Everywhere in the trees, little branches swayed in the wind. The birds fluttered excitedly. Today they wanted to have a competition together, to see who could build the most beautiful nest.

Rosa Immergrün watched everything from her favourite spot at the edge of the woods. She listened to the chirping and felt her heart soften. She noticed a little bird huddled sadly on a branch. All the others had already started. But the little bird remained alone.

When compassion is stronger than any price

Rosa Immergrün moved closer slowly. She spoke to the little bird and asked very quietly, „Why aren't you singing or building?“ The bird trembled slightly and looked at the ground. „My wings are so tired today,“ it chirped. „I'm afraid of being laughed at.“ Rosa Immergrün sat down next to it. She didn't want anyone to be excluded. That made her sad. That's why she was here now, because she felt compassion.

Without thinking, Rosie Evergreen said, „I'll help you. We'll build the nest together.“ Immediately, Rosie Evergreen collected soft moss and lilac feathers with the little bird. They giggled as a sunbeam shone directly on their noses. Step by step, a special nest emerged, a mix of misty white, lilac, and moss green. The little bird stopped trembling. Soon, he quietly sang a song that made all the other birds curious.

The Heart That Changes the World

The gold-feathered birds came and admired the nest. They realised that compassion and friendship are more important than any prize. One by one, they brought a gift for the new nest. Together, they laughed and celebrated. It wasn't the greatest who won, but the one who had a heart for others.

As the day drew to a close, the colours in the Veil Wood glowed even warmer. The mist mingled with the light. The Mist-Vale was filled with joy. Rosa Immergrün felt that she had made a difference with compassion. Because she wanted to help the little bird, the day became beautiful for everyone. It's that simple: with a heart, anyone can change the world.
