Politeness rocks in the Neflental

In Neflental, every day begins with a new adventure. Rosa Immergrün decides to do something very special this morning: she wants to show that politeness rocks! Because being kind doesn't just make your own day better, but others' too. And in Neflental, nice deeds count double, that's for sure!

A Path to the Magic of the Maple Fire Clearing

The sun paints patterns on the fern meadows with golden rays. Pink periwinkle cheerfully traverses the emerald carpet, waving to the bookworms. The path to the famous Maple Fire clearing leads past colourful autumn trees, which glow in vermilion and gold as if small flames were burning there.

On her way, Rosa Immergrün discovers a group of Flossians cannot lift a heavy branch on their own. She hurries over and politely asks, „May I help you?“ Together, they manage it with ease. The Flossians thank her beaming and invite her to play by the lake later. Then Rosa Immergrün realises: politeness makes friends!

The Timeshield Glade: Where the Seasons Meet

Curiously, Rosa Evergreen moves on to the Time Mirror Clearing. Here, glass mirrors float between the trees, showing different seasons. One mirror shows emerald green spring meadows, another a golden summer sun, and a third the blue-grey dampness of winter.

Just as Rosa Periwinkle is marvelling at all the colours, a little periwinkle boy stumbles at her feet. The leaves of his rucksack are crumpled. Rosa Periwinkle smiles kindly and says, „Don't worry, I'll help you sort it out.“ Together they put everything back in order. The little boy politely thanks her and gives Rosa a colourful autumn leaf.

How politeness draws circles in the Neflental

Because Rosa Immergrün is polite to everyone, they all treat her kindly. The Bergsteins greet her with a cheerful nod. The white elves in their crystal palaces wave to her, because they know how important good neighbourliness is for the Neflental. Politeness brings everyone closer together, and every day becomes more colourful.

In the evening, Rosa Immergrün sits with the Buchians at the Maplefire Clearing. In the light of the fiery treetops, they tell cheerful stories and laugh a lot. Rosa feels content because she has helped others, and has been treated kindly herself. Without much magic, she has made the valley brighter – just with politeness!

What do we learn from this?

Kindness really is brilliant, especially in Neflental. If you ask nicely and lend a hand, you’ll make a lot of people happy.
