Every morning, something magical happens in the Neflental. The sun sends its first golden rays over the mountains, bathing the fern meadows in warm light. In spring, when the crocuses and violets bloom everywhere, the inhabitants experience very special adventures. Here, everyone is given an important task, because team spirit is paramount in the Neflental. No one has to be alone, because everyone sticks together.

Springtime in the Nebel Valley: Colours, Scents and Anticipation

It is spring in the Neflental. The snow melts, transforming the meadows into a sea of violets, crocuses, and fragrant grass. Colourful butterflies flutter through the air, and bees happily hum their song. The violet clearing glows like a large, colourful carpet of violet, sun yellow, leaf green, and pearl grey. In the centre of the clearing stands a stone statue, covered in moss and ancient. Every year on a special day in spring, when the first rays of sunlight touch the statue in the morning, a special event awaits everyone.

The Riddle of the Shadow Gate

Rosa Immergrün is meeting her friends in the Violet Glade this morning. There's that whispering again: „Only together can you bring the light through the Shadow Gate.“ Everyone is wondering what it means. The Shadow Gate is an impressive black basalt arch, mysterious and huge, as if built by a giant. It's usually dark here. Only very early in the morning does the rising sun cast a single golden ray precisely through the Shadow Gate. Then a bright track stretches across the ground.

Today everyone needs a lot of team spirit. Rosa Immergrün and his friends want to find out why the beam of light sometimes doesn't make it to the statue. But the path of light is long and full of obstacles.

Team spirit makes you strong: everything goes better together

The Evergreen Rose has many friends. One can jump particularly high, another climbs nimbly over logs, and yet another knows every plant in the meadows. Everyone in the team brings their own ability, but they all know: only when they work together will the adventure be a success.

The beam of light almost slips off its path because a branch lies on the ground. Pink Periwinkle calls her friends together. One pushes the branch aside, another shakes off the leaves. Together, they help to keep the golden beam on track. This way, the light reaches the statue at precisely the right moment and makes its eyes light up. Suddenly, the statue shines with colour – violet, sunshine yellow, leaf green and pearl grey illuminate the violet clearing.

Why team spirit is unbeatable

All the residents of the Neflental notice: Those who work together can achieve much more. One person alone could never have carried the branch, but the team of friends mastered the adventure. Everyone on the team counts, whether big, small, strong, or smart. Because team spirit means not only working together, but also encouraging each other and helping one another when things get tough.

At the end of the day, Rosa Immergrün and her friends sit together happily. The light dances across the meadows. They laugh, talk about their adventure, and are happy that everyone could help. In Neflental, everyone now knows: team spirit makes you unbeatable – together, you can achieve anything.
