Why reliability is so important in the Neflental
An exciting day begins in the Neflental as the sun reaches its zenith in a blaze of glory. Its rays dance in gold and amber, illuminating the rivers and lakes, which sparkle like precious jewels. Everywhere, the inhabitants are celebrating the festival of dancing lanterns. However, in the midst of this colourful revelry, there is an important task.
Rosa Immergrün gets a commission
Rosa Immergrün stands at the edge of the Bernblossom Grove. It smells of honey and summer rain here. The golden-yellow blossoms sway in the warm wind. An older Flossian approaches her. He excitedly says that a very special blossom crown is to be tied for the Elf Queen today. This task is very important, because without this crown, the festival cannot begin. Rosa Immergrün is chosen to pick all the suitable blossoms and bring them to the large bonfire by the lake on time.
Reliability is required
Rosa Immergrün nods straight away. Because everyone in Neflental knows that reliability makes a hero. Many others would rather dance or rest. But Rosa Immergrün decides to help the valley. She sets off for the sunny Bernblütenhain. The sun paints golden patterns on the ground, while bees buzz from flower to flower.
On her way, friends meet her. They call and wave because they want her to sing or play with them. But Rosa Immergrün waves kindly. She says she has an important task in the Neflental. She must bring the flowers on time, otherwise the festival will never begin.
An everyday heroic deed
In the Bernblossom Grove, she fills her basket with the most beautiful and golden blossoms. The sun beats down, sweat drips from her brow, but she doesn't give up. She quietly sings a song to motivate herself, thinking of how much the fairy queen needs the crown. Finally, she has gathered enough blossoms. She quickly makes her way to the great fire pit by the Crystal Lake. The others rejoice at her sight, for no one else could have brought the blossoms so punctually!
The grand festival by the crystal lake
The Elf King comes and receives.
The fire pit is lit. Lanterns rise into the sky and dance like fireflies over the lake. Everyone is celebrating because the grand festival can begin thanks to reliability. Rosa Immergrün is celebrated as a hero. She kept her promise and everyone is happy.
What do we learn from this?
Reliability doesn't have to be an epic adventure. Keeping small promises makes you an everyday hero to others. Friends, family – and even entire Neflental peoples – can count on someone who does what they say they will. Everyone can make life better with reliability. That's why reliability is so important, especially when most people would rather be celebrating. It gives courage, provides security, and brings joy. Those who are reliable bring magic and light to everyday life.
