How to become a hero in everyday life: A story from the Neflental

In the Neflental, there is currently a glorious shine. The sun in the sky looks like a shining gold coin. Everything shimmers in sun-gold and sapphire blue, the crystal lake sparkles like a large mirror. Everywhere in the valley, the inhabitants are celebrating. They sit by the shore, wear colourful clothes, and lanterns float silently through the evening air. In the warm light, people dance around small bonfires. They laugh, talk, and eat summer delicacies.

The friendly atmosphere at the Water Lily Bay

On the edge of the Crystal Lake lies the Lily Pad Bay. Large, round leaves cover the water. Delicate white flowers are opening their cups. Colourful fish dart up and down, and iridescent dragonflies whizz through the warm air. In this beautiful corner of the Neflental, Rosa Immergrün is just making her way to the festival. Her basket is full of fragrant berry pies.

Rosa had actually just wanted to stroll cheerfully to the big celebration to eat and dance with her friends. The heat of the dazzling celebration even made the lily pads shine. Rosa could hear the laughter of the revellers, but suddenly a worried croak emerged from under a large leaf.

Helpfulness in the Neflental

Rosa looks closer. A little frog is stuck under one of the lily pads. A thick branch is trapping him, and he can't get back into the water. No one notices because the party is so exciting. But Rosa doesn't hesitate. She puts down the basket and carefully leans over the water. Quickly, she kneels on a cushion of moss. With one hand, she holds onto the branch, and with the other, she carefully levers up the leaf. The frog croaks thankfully.

Sometimes helping looks very simple, but it is very important. If Rosa had simply walked on, the little frog might have been stuck there with all its might.

Stronger together in radiant glory

Rosa now hurries back to the riverbank. She encounters a boy with a colourful lantern, who looks sad. His lantern has fallen into the water and is threatening to sink. Rosa immediately runs off, grabs a long stick, and fishes the pretty little lantern out of the waves. The boy beams and thanks her happily.

The revellers too have now noticed Rosa helping. They clap enthusiastically, because in the Neflental everyone knows: helpfulness makes everyday life more beautiful. Small acts of kindness can be very grand and warm the heart.

So you become a hero in everyday life in Neflental

Helpfulness in the Neflental means looking out for others. Sometimes someone just needs a smile. Sometimes it's good to help, even if it takes little effort. Rosa Immergrün shows everyone that real heroes aren't loud and don't need a magic wand. If everyone looks out for each other a little bit, every celebration becomes more beautiful and the Neflental even more colourful.

As the festival continues, old and young friends sit by the water. They share berry pies, tell each other stories and watch the colourful lanterns floating in the gentle summer air. Happiness flickers through the bay of water lilies in the light of the shining sun.

What do we learn from this?

Helpfulness in everyday life isn't a big deal, but it can change everything. In Neflental, anyone can be a hero by paying attention and being there for others. Remember: Whether you're helping a frog, rescuing a lantern, or simply being kind – you bring joy and light into other people's lives. This is how Neflental becomes a place where everyone enjoys living.
