With gratitude to happiness in the Neflental

The day begins in Neflental on the Violet Glade. Early in the morning, the first rays of sunshine dart through the treetops. They fall upon the ancient statue in the centre of the glade. The small, purple violets give off a sweet scent, while sun-yellow crocuses bloom amongst them. The moss-covered rock also gleams in the fresh green foliage. Next to the statue, Rosa Immergrün sits on the soft carpet of flowers. She listens to the chirping of the birds and feels the warm sunlight on her face.

The air is cool and fresh on this spring day. A gentle wind plays with the leaves. In her hand, Rosaimmergrün holds a small notebook. She reflects: What is actually making me happy today? She looks around the violet clearing, runs her finger through the pearly grey moss, and writes: „I am grateful for these wonderful flowers.“ The thought makes her heart feel light. She smiles and jots down more things that make her happy. Each sentence helps her to focus a little more on the beauty in the Neflental.

The Meadow of Stars – Where Wishes Bloom

In the evening, Rosa Immergrün continues her journey to the Star Meadow. The alpine pasture is lonely, yet full of magic. Soon, when it gets dark, the phosphorescent flowers awaken there. Like little stars, they begin to glow. Their delicate, sparkling light flickers over the soft grass. Even from afar, the Star Meadow looks like a piece of the sky on Earth.

Rosa Immergrün lies down in the grass and looked up. The sky shimmered blue and violet. Above her, the colours of the day spread out, while the first stars appeared alongside the flowers. „How beautiful it all is!“ she thought. Then she picked up a small, flat stone from the ground. In her thoughts, she gave thanks for the wonderful day in the Neflental, the diverse scent of violets, and the gentle glow of the starry meadow.

What gratitude can change

In the Neflental, residents often notice that gratitude touches the heart. Those who take their time and pay attention to small things often feel better straight away. Rosa Immergrün notices this too. She gets up from the starry meadow, breathes in the fresh night air and realises: Small moments of happiness are everywhere.

On the way back through the Violet Wood, she thinks about her experiences. The colourful flowers, the warm light and the friendly chirping fill her with joy. Gratitude is like a spell – it opens one's eyes to happiness, friendship and security. Even though not every day is perfect, there is always something to be grateful for.

To hike through the Neflental with gratitude

Every evening, when Rosa Immergrün crawls into her warm bed, she quietly counts three things she was grateful for that day. She knows this makes her heart calm and her sleep especially gentle. Sometimes she wishes everyone would try it just once. Gratitude is like a little spark that makes every day brighter – it’s that simple in Neflental! Try it yourself!

What do we learn from this?

Happiness often begins with very small moments. Those who are grateful see the wonders in everyday life. The most beautiful experiences grow from joy and an open, friendly outlook on the world. In the Neflental, but also everywhere else.
