The Beechwood of the Buchian people in the Neflental

In the Neflental, nestled between towering mountains and deep, glittering lakes, lies a special place. The Buchianer's Beechwood is a mysterious spot where ancient trees touch the sky. Here, the beech trunks shine silver in the full moon. Their leaves dance like golden fire across the forest floor in autumn. The Buchianer live in the thick roots and old trunks. They joyously celebrate the harvest of beech nuts and tell each other stories of the Neflensee. But tonight is a different night: the Frost Night.

The Frost Night in the Neflental Valley

It is winter in the Neflental. A glittering blanket of snow lies like a soft cloth over the beech forest. Every branch carries sparkling frost. The stars in the night sky are silvery bright. They cast glassy shadows on the ground. From afar, the gentle sound of bells can be heard. A touch of magic lies over everything.

Rosa Immergrün seeks her own path

In the deep, snow-covered forest, Rosa Immergrün tiptoes quietly between the beech trees. She hears the crunch of frost beneath her feet. The cold air tingles on her skin, but her heart beats bravely. Between the trees, memories flicker like bright sparks.

Many are now sleeping soundly in their warm burrows. But Rosa Immergrün feels a yearning. She wants to know who she truly is. Perhaps, she thinks, the frost night can reveal the secret.

A silver path through the beech forest of the Buchians

Rosa Immergrün follows a mysterious beam of light. On the frozen forest floor, a path of tiny ice diamonds glitters. She hears the song of winter in the treetops. Every step on the frost sends small snowflakes into the air.

In the Buchenwald of the Bookians, Rosa Immergrün feels safe and free. And yet she asks herself: Am I really me when I am like the others?

Self-realisation in the icy silence

The night is still, but Rosa's thoughts are loud. She remembers the fun festivals with the Buchians and the adventures at Lake Nefl. But in the frosty night, where snowflakes float like sparks of memory, she recognises something new.

Rosa Immergrün remains standing. She closes her eyes and listens to the sound of the bells. Then she feels that she can go her own way. She doesn't have to stay like the others. Bravely, she opens her eyes. She feels the light within herself – like a warm core in the cold snow.

Find yourself in the Neflental

The frosty night in the Neflental bestows special strength. It shows Rosa Immergrün that everyone is allowed to find their own path. Sometimes you have to venture out into the cold and the unknown to do so. But in the end, the heart shines brighter than the ice-crystal moon. The Buchianer, the beech forest, and memories remain important. But the courage to be your own self makes you unique.

What do we learn from this?

In the Neflental, especially in the snow-covered beech forest of the Buchianer, you can find yourself. Self-realisation means going your own way and listening to your heart. The frosty night may be cold, but your dreams glow warmer than any star. Dare to trust yourself – like Rosa Immergrün.
