Consideration in the Neflental

Summer begins in the Neflental with the high shine. The sun hangs in the sky like a golden ball, bestowing light and warmth upon all. The fields gleam in golden sunshine, while rivers and lakes sparkle in sapphire blue, emerald green, and coral red. Everywhere, the valley's residents are celebrating the summer festival. They sit on the banks of the crystal-clear waters, colourful lanterns floating like tiny moons through the twilight. Joy is great as all the animals and gnomes come together to enjoy the long, bright season. And soon, Flamebush Grove too will shine in its most magnificent red.

A special gift in shining splendour

One day, as the celebration was at its peak, Rosa Immergrün crept along the edge of the fern meadows. She took great delight in the lights and sounds of the dancing children. But suddenly she heard a soft sigh from behind the grove of flame bushes. The bushes there were already glowing a bright red, as if someone had lit a fire. Rosa Immergrün followed the sigh. She discovered a small Flossianer, who was sadly huddled at the edge of a bush. His skin shimmered in the light like sapphire, but his eyes were full of sorrow.

She kindly asked, „Why are you so sad on such a lovely day?“ The Flossian explained, „I accidentally hurt the flame bush while making a lantern. Now the bush is bleeding red drops, and I'm afraid I've ruined the festival.”

To achieve great things with small deeds

Rosa Immergrün took her time, listening very calmly. This was already her first small deed, for sorrow is often lighter when someone listens. Together they went back to the flame bush grove. Rosa Immergrün spoke gently to the bushes, for she knew the language of plants. She carefully placed her hand on the injured spot. The friends of the evergreens quickly hurried over, having seen that help was needed. Together they collected dew-fresh leaves from the fern meadows. The Buchians brought soft moss bandages, and a Flossian sang a quiet song of comfort by the river.

Out of many small gestures grew great help. The bush gratefully accepted the care. Soon it looked again as if its red leaves were dancing with joy. The festival could continue. No one scolded the little Flossianer, because they understood: everyone makes mistakes, but consideration and cohesion are more important. So in the evening, everyone was laughing and dancing by the riverbank again. They watched lanterns of all the colours of the valley float by. The embers of the fire were reflected on the river like a heart-shaped light.

The Magic of Consideration in Everyday Life

In the Nefl valley, residents often notice that with consideration and small acts of kindness, everyone can achieve great things. If someone is sad, others embrace them. They listen, comfort, and help where they can. Sometimes a kind word, a shared biscuit, or a delicate moss leaf is enough to make someone smile again. Rosa Immergrün does this every day: she checks in, helps others, and brings different communities together.

Many children in the Neflental do the same. They learn from Rosa Immergrün that consideration makes living together beautiful and peaceful. That's why the peak summer blooms in the valley glow particularly brightly every year. And in the Flame Bush Grove, the red bushes blaze like a secret promise that every day can bring something good if we are kind and helpful to one another.

What do we learn from this?

In the Neflental, Rosa Immergrün and her friends show that even small deeds can become big in our hearts. Those who are considerate give light and joy. And sometimes, simply listening or a heroic gesture is enough to banish sadness. In everyday life, at celebrations, or during play: it always makes living together more beautiful. In this way, everyone can bring a little magic into our world.
