CAD (Computer-Aided Design) is primarily known from the sectors of industry and Industry 4.0, 3D printing, and digital transformation. CAD is used to design products, machines, or buildings on the computer before they are built or produced in the real world. It therefore replaces classic drawing on paper with digital tools.
