In the Neflental valley, the world changes in autumn. The colours on the maple bonfire clearing glow red and orange, as if the whole meadow were burning like a fire. Our story starts here. Rosa Immergrün wakes with the first ray of sunshine and hears the gentle rustling of the colourful leaves. She loves this place because the maple trees give her courage. The courage to be herself.

A special day with Pink Periwinkle

Today is a special day in the Neflental. Rosa Immergrün is supposed to sing a song at the grand autumn festival in the Time Mirror Clearing. However, a small problem is worrying her. Rosa Immergrün thinks her voice sounds different to the voices of others. Some Flossians sing crystal clear, the Buchians have deep, warm voices, and even the Bergsteins sound as powerful as a mountain wind.

As she walks across the maple clearing, the colourful leaves rustle beneath her feet. Golden sunlight dances on the damp dew drops. Her heart pounds like mad. Is Rosa Immergrün really going to sing in front of everyone? She's afraid the others will laugh at her because she doesn't sound like the rest.

Why courage arises from authenticity in the Neflental

Rosa Immergrün meets many friends at the Mirror Clearing of Time. Hundreds of mirrors float above their heads. Each shows a different season: emerald green summer meadows, golden autumn colours, scarlet winter sunshine, and blue-grey spring rain flicker on the shiny surfaces. Each mirror is different and all are beautiful.

Rosa Immergrün suddenly notices something important. Why must voices be the same when mirrors, leaves, and even seasons in Neflental look different? She takes courage because she realises: whoever she truly is, is unique and can bring something very special into the world.

This is how authenticity becomes a source of encouragement

All the residents of the Nefl Valley gather among the mirrors. The white elves float gently through the autumn air. The Buchians snuggle into the red moss. The colours of the maple are reflected in the sparkling lake.

Rosa Immergrün steps before the grand, colourful circle. She thinks of the courage of the trees in the Maple Fire Clearing. No maple stands concealed or hides its glow. So, Rosa Immergrün sings her song – just as she feels it and just as she can sing it. Her melody sounds different. But it sounds honest, warm, and as real as the autumn wind over the red, glowing leaves.

A unique gift for the Neflental

After the song, it's quiet. Then the first Flossians begin to smile. The elves flutter louder. The Bergsteins nod admiringly. And the Buchians clap enthusiastically. No one laughs. Everyone senses how special the song was because it was sung bravely and honestly.

In the mirror of time clearing, everyone recognises why authenticity shows much courage. Only those who show themselves as they are give the world something unique. Ever since, everyone in the Neflental remembers: The colourful diversity makes life exciting and magical.

In the Neflental, everyone learns: whoever is brave and stays true to themselves is a true gift to the community. Authenticity makes you strong. It makes you unique and brave. Dare to be who you are – just like Rosa Immergrün (Rosa Periwinkle) in the Time Mirror clearing, amidst emerald green, golden, and cinnabar red colours.
