The sun stood high in the sky, bathing everything in warm sun-gold, sapphire blue, coral red, and emerald green. The plateau glowed. Little lakes sparkled everywhere. Rivers shimmered like dancing fire sparks. Happy people sat on the banks celebrating, while colourful lanterns floated through the twilight. In the middle of the Neflental lay the Bernblossom Grove. It smelled of honey and summer rain. The golden-yellow blossoms swayed gently in the wind.

A special day in the Bernblütenhain

A big festival was supposed to take place today for the inhabitants of the Neflental.
