Als Apple vor zwei Wochen auf seiner j\u00e4hrlichen Entwicklerkonferenz iOS 12, die kommende Version seines mobilen Betriebssystems, vorstellte, war eine der wichtigsten neuen Funktionen eine Reihe von Tools namens Screen Time<\/a>. Screen Time, das nur wenige Wochen nach der Ank\u00fcndigung<\/a> \u00e4hnlicher Funktionen f\u00fcr Android-Ger\u00e4te durch Google<\/a> auf den Markt kam, umfasst Aktivit\u00e4tsberichte, App-Limits und neue „Nicht st\u00f6ren“- und Benachrichtigungskontrollen und wurde entwickelt, um den Nutzern zu helfen, „die Zeit, die sie mit Apps und Websites verbringen, besser zu verstehen und zu kontrollieren, wie oft sie ihr iPhone w\u00e4hrend des Tages in die Hand nehmen und wie sie Benachrichtigungen erhalten“.
\nIn den letzten Monaten wurden Apple<\/a> und andere Telefonhersteller sowie Unternehmen aus dem Bereich der sozialen Medien wiederholt aufgefordert, ihren Teil zur Bek\u00e4mpfung des wachsenden Problems der \u00fcberm\u00e4\u00dfigen Nutzung von Smartphones und des Internets beizutragen. W\u00e4hrend sowohl Apple als auch Google signalisiert haben, dass sie bereit sind, Verantwortung f\u00fcr dieses Problem zu \u00fcbernehmen, sind die Verbraucher der Meinung, dass sie ihre m\u00f6glicherweise ungesunden Gewohnheiten selbst \u00e4ndern m\u00fcssen. Laut einer von Morning Consult<\/a> durchgef\u00fchrten Umfrage sind 74 Prozent der Erwachsenen in den USA der Meinung, dass die Verbraucher f\u00fcr die L\u00f6sung des Problems der Smartphone-Sucht verantwortlich sind, w\u00e4hrend nur 9 Prozent der Meinung sind, dass die Technologieunternehmen die Schuld daran tragen.
