Podcasts are particularly popular with younger audiences and digital natives and are particularly well-suited for long audio content such as interview formats and lectures that delve deeper into specific topics or special interests than is usually possible with radio formats aimed at the general public.<br \/>\nAccording to the most recent <a href=\"http:\/\/www.digitalnewsreport.org\/survey\/2018\/podcasts-and-new-audio-strategies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Digital News Report<\/a> The Reuters Institute found that more than a third of respondents from 22 countries had listened to a podcast in the month before the survey, with penetration varying widely across different markets.
