Curiosity in the Neflental: Rosa Immergrün has an adventure

In the sunny spring, the Neflental valley lies in fresh splendour. The birds are singing, the air smells of blossoms and grass. Amongst tall ferns and gleaming beeches, Rosa Immergrün paces about excitedly. Today, Rosa feels particularly curious. She wants to know what lies beyond the old stream bed at the edge of the valley.

Rosa constantly asks herself: „What could be hiding among all the flowers in the snapdragon clearing? What would the water from the secret spring by the violet clearing taste like?“ She makes a decision: today she will solve the mystery of the enchanted clearings. With bright eyes, Rosa sets off, because she loves discovering new things.

The Snapdragon Clearing – Gold in the Sunlight

After just a few steps, Rosa reaches the snapdragon clearing. Golden-yellow flowers bloom everywhere. Their closed buds resemble small animal heads, almost as if they were looking at the walkers. The sun shines warmly on Rosa's face. Suddenly, there's a rustling in the grass. A curious squirrel darts back and forth between the buds. Rosa calls softly, „Hello! What are you doing here?“ The squirrel looks at her with sparkling eyes. Rosa notices how curiosity fills not only her but also the little animal.

Rosa sits down on a stone and wonders why the flowers in this clearing shine with such a special golden glow. She examines their details and realises that they only feel comfortable where the sun warms them directly. She notices that the buds slowly open their heads during the day to welcome the bees.

Off to the Violet Clearing!

Because Rosa Immergrün's curiosity drives her, she wanders on. She takes a narrow path that winds through ferns. Soon she feels soft ground beneath her feet. Suddenly, she finds herself in the Violet Glade. A magical carpet of purple violets and bright yellow crocuses covers the meadow. In the middle stands a statue. Its face looks old and friendly, moss frames its intelligent eyes. Tiny sunbeams dance over the statue's pearl grey, making its eyes gleam.

Rosa feels magically drawn to the statue. She stops and looks at it more closely. She wonders who once created this statue and why it stands in this secret place. She cautiously creeps closer, touches the soft moss, and discovers tiny inscriptions in the stone. She tries to decipher the markings, and suddenly she feels imagination and knowledge growing in her mind.

Curiosity makes one brave and strong.

Because Rosa is so curious, she discovers things that others wouldn't even dream of. The search for answers makes her brave. She dares to go down new paths and ask questions. Rosa notices her heart beating faster when she thinks of the stories that every flower and every stone in the Neflental can tell.

So Rosa notices: „Being curious is like a key. It opens doors to exciting adventures.“ And because she never stops asking, her days in the Neflental become more colourful and richer. In the evening, she lies on soft grass and thinks: „I am strong because I am curious.“
