Es ist eine Technik, die beim Trainieren von sogenannten neuronalen Netzwerken hilft \u2013 das sind lernende Computerprogramme, die zum Beispiel Sprache erkennen oder Bilder analysieren k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n<p>Beim Training dieser Netzwerke werden st\u00e4ndig mathematische Rechnungen durchgef\u00fchrt, dabei entstehen sogenannte \u201eGradienten\u201c. Manchmal werden diese allerdings viel zu gro\u00df. Das kann das Training instabil machen und daf\u00fcr sorgen, dass das Netzwerk nicht richtig lernt. Gradient Clipping schneidet diese zu gro\u00dfen Werte einfach ab, h\u00e4lt also den Lernprozess im kontrollierten Rahmen.<\/p>\n<p>Stellen Sie sich vor, Sie trainieren eine Sportmannschaft und jemand sprintet pl\u00f6tzlich extrem schnell davon. Das ganze Team ger\u00e4t dadurch aus dem Takt.
